Arthrospira Cell Residues for Lactic Acid Fermentation as Bioproducts From Waste Utilization

چکیده
Arthrospira ( Spirulina ) platensis is a freshwater cyanobacterium that commercially produced as food source on global scale and considered safe for human consumption. After C-phycocyanin (C-PC) extraction, the waste cell residue (WCR) composed of nutrients with 30% protein content. Here, potential WCR nitrogen Bacillus coagulans cultivation bioproducts was evaluated. Nitrogen substitute from under different conditions 20—100 g L −1 performed. B. achieved maximal viable cells at 7.6–9.5 log CFU mL . Increasing gave decreasing lactate production. The highest production 27 20 , highlighting use A. biomass growth lactic acid bacteria zero-waste biotechnology methodology. utilization renewable resources crucial step toward developing sustainable industrial society.

Brewery Waste Reuse for Protease Production by Lactic Acid Fermentation.
This study evaluated the use of three solid brewery wastes: brewer's spent grain, hot trub and residual brewer's yeast, as alternative media for the cultivation of lactic acid bacteria to evaluate their potential for proteolytic enzyme production. Initially, a mixture experimental design was used to evaluate the effect of each residue, as well as different mixtures (with the protein content set...

This study was conducted to determine the effects of lactic acid bacteria (LAB, Lactobacillus salivarius) inoculation on the microbial, physical and chemical properties of food waste mixture (FWM) stored at ambient temperature (25 degrees C) for 10 and 30 days. A complete pig diet including restaurant food waste, bakery by-product, barley and wheat bran, and broiler poultry litter was amended w...
متن کاملComprehensive utilization of waste hemicelluloses during ethanol production to increase lactic acid yield: from pretreatment to fermentation
BACKGROUND Reducing the cost of producing cellulosic ethanol is essential for the industrialization of biorefinery. Several processes are currently under investigation, but few of these techniques are entirely satisfactory in terms of competitive cost or environmental impact. In this study, a new ethanol and lactic acid (LA) coproduction is proposed. The technique involved addition of waste alk...

One isomer of lactic acid This is presented to you by TATSA WAMBEA LANDRY www.futurelabtechnologist.weebly.com [1]</'' Lactic acid fermentation is a biological process by which sugars such as glucose, fructose, and sucrose, are converted into cellular energy and the metabolic byproduct lactate. It is an anaerobic fermentation reaction that occurs in some bacteria and animal cells, such as muscl...
